Satoru TanakaRepresentative Director of Pear Capital

With a career spanning over 15 years, Satoru Tanaka serves as the Representative Director of Pear Capital. 

Originally from Kikuchi City, Kumamoto Prefecture, he joined Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation after graduating from university. There, he primarily engaged in solution sales for medium-sized and small enterprises. His responsibilities included supporting business succession, M&A, and overseas expansion, earning multiple banking awards in the process.

In 2015, he joined Nihon M&A Center Inc., where he served as an M&A advisor, working on various schemes in collaboration with partner financial institutions across different industries. He achieved the highest budget fulfillment rate in the company for the fiscal year 2015.

In 2017, he joined a nascent M&A advisory firm, contributing to its rapid growth, achieving over 3.5 billion yen in sales and expanding the workforce to 200 employees in just two and a half years. He was awarded MVP for two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019.

In 2020, he founded his own company, continuing his journey in the M&A advisory industry.
