TRAINING CONTENT


To run a successful meeting with Japanese, you must understand not only how to communicate with Japanese but also hidden
expectations for a ‘good’ meeting in Japan. This training will help you increase your ability to run a successful meeting with
Japanese audience while optimizing the chance you get the results you really want out of the meeting.

Non-Japanese who are working with Japanese clients, partners and colleagues, and are looking to increase
their skills to run a successful meeting with Japanese.


The Training is limited to 8 participants.


Training method : Online, with interactive exercises and practical cases.

 

YOUR TRAINER

Akiko Klahr-Suzuki, founder and executive director of AKS Japan International, is an expert in international business and cross-cultural leadership. She has over 25 years of global business experience based in France, Japan and Switzerland, working with more than 20 countries spread over Europe, Asia and the Americas. She helps global Japanese companies in France/Europe to increase management efficiency, synergies and team performance.
Previously, she held the position of Associate Director, Head of the community of Japanese Global Growth Companies at the World Economic Forum (Organizer of “Davos” in Geneva) for 5 years. She developed business communities and dialogues with top Japanese and global business leaders.


Prior to this, Akiko worked at Hewlett-Packard Japan and France (European Headquarters) for about 10 years. She managed numbers of large scale changes and transformation with cross-functional projects (Marketing, Sales, Operation, Quality, IT, R&D) for 500 global accounts, developing solid understanding on the importance of transcultural leadership for global organizations.


Akiko has solid experience in mobilizing cross-cultural teams, leading to significantly improved business performance and global sales enablement. AKS’s clients include global Japanese companies in various industries as well as public organizations & leading business schools.
