Sustainability Committee - Recap Event
On March 6th, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan, in collaboration with the German and American Chambers of Commerce in Japan, brought together visionaries for an inspiring Sustainability Committee event. The session, titled "Unlocking a Low Carbon Future: Turning Ideas into Reality - Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)," showcased the expertise of Allan Baker, Managing Director and Global Head of Power Advisory & Project Finance, and Michael De Witte, Director of Energy Finance & Advisory, from Société Générale.
The event's highlight was the visionaries behind the world’s first gas-fired power station equipped with Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS). They offered profound insights into the challenges they encountered, the innovative solutions they implemented, and the significant milestones they reached in this pioneering project.
