Marc Letourneau has been with Club Med for 25 years and is currently the General Manager of Club Med Japan & South Korea based in Tokyo since 2020. He is responsible for the commercial and marketing strategies of the two markets additionally to be the Project Manager of Club Med’s brand new Kiroro resort in Hokkaido. With the addition of Kiroro, Club Med will now operate 5 resorts in Japan, four in the mountains of Hokkaido and one being a beach destination in Ishigaki making Japan one of the most significant destination for the group after France in terms of clients and revenue.
Before Japan, Marc has been a key figure in Club Med various organisations around the world primarily with leadership and commercial positions in Taiwan, Singapore, Australia and Canada his native country. Marc is also Club Med’s APAC key lead of the Mountain Leadership topics & projects. Born in Canada, Marc grew up in Bromont, a small mountain resort located 45min south of Montreal. Sports were a big part of his upbringing and continue to be today. Growing up between mountains and lakes, Marc was a ski instructor and an avid water-skier in his teenage years, and where he discovered his passion in leisure and recreation.
During his free time, Marc enjoys skiing, watersports and travelling.
