Stéfan Le DûEBC Committee Chair - Sustainability Committee

A former engineer and manager at the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, Stéfan spent 15 years in France leading initiatives in clean energy, transport, and construction. Since relocating to Japan in 2016, he has fostered collaborations between public and private sectors to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon society through his roles at the Embassy of France and the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation. In 2021, he transitioned to the private sector to provide strategic consulting and education services to Japanese companies seeking to achieve their sustainability goals. Stéfan is currently Director of Business Development for sustainable agriculture solutions at Life Lab and Coordinator of Ichigo Bloom, a sustainability education collective. He also serves as Chair of the Sustainability and Social Responsibility committee at the European Business Council in Japan.
