End-of-Year Kansai Dinner Party 2024

In order to celebrate the successes of the past year and look without any regrets towards the year to come, come and enjoy a quality meal in the exceptional setting of the Heian-jingū Shrine and its magnificent gardens in Kyoto.

Madam the Consul General of France in Kyoto, Sandrine Mouchet, will also honor us with her presence this year.

A selection of gifts will be drawn for participants, among which some Zaku high-end sake from our member Shimizu Seizaburō Shōten.

Mini-sized sushi
With Pacific saury, garnished with finely shredded ginger.

Dengaku (grilled and miso-glazed dish)
featuring creamy taro root.

Kasumi Zuwai crab
With lightly seasoned "ohitashi" dish.

Simmered monkfish liver
Highlighting its rich, umami flavor.

Shinoda-maki
A roll of seasoned fried tofu skin with various fillings.

Yam "mukago"
(A type of small yam bulbils) in a creamy tofu sauce.

Layered persimmon "Hakata-style"
With rich, egg yolk vinegar sauce.

Topped with caviar for a touch of elegance.
