CCIFJ is pleased to introduce its 5th edition of the Women In Business Program tailored for women in the Japanese business environment who are aspiring to or are already in management positions.
We offer a unique opportunity for organizations in Japan to become truly inclusive, help talented woman grow & accelerate their leadership skills.
This 7-day program aims to help talented women grow, accelerate their careers and strengthen participants with the following skills & knowledge:
The learning modules will provide practical professional skills, and will help to develop an exclusive business network.
The program will be delivered in Japanese by professors from GLOBIS Corporation in Tokyo, the largest business graduate school in Japan.
A certificate will be delivered by GLOBIS upon program completion.

AVAILABLE SOONThrough the following 7 days, participants will learn the fundamentals of what give you real leadership skills today.
Module 1: LEADERSHIP
September 9, 2025 9 am - 5 pm
Participants will engage in team-building activities while exploring their personal strengths and individual leadership styles.
Additionally, participants will learn about critical concepts like "career anchors" and "career survival." These ideas are essential for designing a career plan and achieving growth and success as business leaders.
Module 2: BUSINESS STRATEGY (AM)|DIGITALIZATION (PM)
September 30, 2024 9 am - 5 pm
Participants will learn the significance of designing business strategy in corporate management and the fundamental principles of strategic planning, using multiple business cases of global companies.
Participants will aim to master methods for analyzing their business environment, customer needs, and current strategies through discussions on the critical elements required to establish competitive advantage.
In the latter half of the class, we will examine the importance of data utilization in value creation within today's business environment and deepen our understanding of how to respond effectively to seize new business opportunities.
Module 3: ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP
October 14, 2024 9 am - 5 pm
This module focuses on "Leadership toward organizations," leveraging multiple business cases to explore the leadership skills required to drive organizational transformation and lead teams in practical business scenarios.
Participants will also examine methodologies for managing organizational change in rapidly evolving environments and reflect on the behaviors essential for effective leadership in such contexts.
Module 4: POWER & INFLUENCE (AM)|ENGAGING TALK WITH JUNE MIYACHI (PM)
BRIDGING THE GAP: TURNING KNOWLEDGE INTO ACTION (PM)
October 28, 2024 9 am - 5 pm
Participants will learn "the power to influence others", and enhance their capabilities to effectively leverage their influence to achieve desired outcomes.
Through the use of business cases, participants will explore and discuss various types of power and techniques required to influence not only members within reporting lines but also colleagues across different departments.
In the first part of the afternoon, participants will have the privilege of engaging in a discussion with June Miyachi, President & CEO of Cartier Japan. The topic will be communicated at the beggining of the program.
In the last 90 minutes of the day, we will explore the importance of a growth mindset and that ‘knowing’ and ‘doing’ are not the same thing.
Participants will have a chance to apply their program learnings through interactive exercises that simulate business situations to enable them to cross the knowing/doing gap.
Module 5: SUSTAINABILITY (AM) - ESG LEADERSHIP (AM) |INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION (PM)
November 12, 2025 9 am - 5 pm
This module addresses the increasingly critical topic of sustainable management, focusing on the need to balance "sustainable and responsible management" with "financial value creation." Participants will deepen their understanding of the societal context and background driving this necessity.
In the afternoon, participants will develop essential communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and work efficiently.
Module 6: PERSONAL MISSION & REFLECTION
November 19, 2025 9 am - 5 pm
In the first half of this module, participants will reflect on their three-month learning journey, organizing insights gained through the program, identifying practical applications to their work, and determining actions needed to demonstrate leadership within their organizations moving forward.
In the latter half of the class, participants will explore the importance and impact of kokorozashi (personal mission).
They will reflect on their aspirations as female leaders—what they wish to achieve—and share their kokorozashi with other leaders in the class.
Module 7: WELL-BEING MANAGEMENT | PANEL DISCUSSION | GRADUATION CEREMONY
November 27, 2025 9 am - 5 pm
In the first part of the day, participants will dive in an interactive workshop with evidence-based psychological insights for women leaders to master well-being management, prevent burnout, and create healthy boundaries to thrive both professionally and personally.
In the afternoon, a panel discussion hosted by CCIFJ will bring together business leaders from our exclusive network, followed by an engaging Q&A session.
To further enrich the experience, alumni from previous editions will join, encouraging meaningful exchanges among participants from all cohorts.
The day will conclude with a small cocktail, where program certificates will be awarded to all participants.
